Players Club Invitational Golf Day Returns For The 2nd Year Running: A Celebration of Fun, Beers, and Banter!

We are pleased to announce another fantastic day on the fairways as we return for the annual Players Club Invitational at the stunning Townsville G.C.

For the second consecutive year, we’re gearing up for our beloved 4 Ball Ambrose Golf Day—a tradition that has quickly become a highlight on our off season calendar.

This event isn’t just about swinging clubs and sinking putts; it’s about camaraderie, celebration, and, of course, a chance to take home some amazing prizes and the converted trophy.

A Tradition Takes Shape

Last year’s inaugural 4 Ball Ambrose Golf Day was a resounding success. The atmosphere was electric, with members and guests from all skill levels coming together to celebrate their love for the game. The mix of competitive spirit and laid-back enjoyment made it clear that this was an event we want to continue to run on a yearly basis.

This year, we’re building on that success. We’ve kept everything that made last year’s event special while adding a few new touches to enhance the experience. The emphasis remains on fun and banter, with the golf itself being a backdrop to a day filled with laughter and beers.

The Day's Itinerary

Registration:

Registration and a BBQ lunch supplied by Lamberts starts at 11am

The Golfing Action:

Rules presentation will then begin at 11:30am with teams ready, the shotgun start will take place at midday 12pm. This ensures that everyone gets underway simultaneously. The course will be in pristine condition, with challenging pin placements and strategically placed hazards to keep things interesting. Keep an eye out for the longest drive, nearest to pin and the MAD COW feature holes.

Post-Golf Festivities:

Presentation and dinner will occur around 5:30pm as soon as the golf is finished. Guests are invited to hang around and drink beers on the grass as the music plays long into the night.
